About me

I started learning to paint in 2013 when I joined an oil painting hobby group/class at my local community center. My first piece was a disaster but by the end of it I had learned all the basics of how to paint and from there was able to cultivate my own style and approach. I take inspiration from the great science fiction artists of the 70s such as Chris Foss, Vincent Di Fate, Frank Frazetta, John Harris and Roger Dean to name a few. Now I'm getting into the digital art world where I'm focused on a more graphic comic and cartoon style akin to artists like Ed Roth and John K.
